Enchanted Evangeline

Before we got into BJDs, my sister and I collected Tonner dolls. In fact, I still buy a Tonner doll on occasion, though not for several months now. Because of that we have quite a few of them, including three Evangeline Ghastly dolls.

I really like Evangeline's body for a Tonner doll. It moves a lot better than most Tonner dolls and it's a really wacky shape: extremely skinny and very elongated. However, her large top and skinny waist make dressing her a challenge. Fortunately it's not an impossible task and so we took a Designs by Jude pattern for Evangeline and made a dress to put up for sale.

Our dress is made of green/blue brocade with gold designs and gold silky fabric to accent it. It's trimmed with off-white and gold roses. I even made her a necklace to match. As usual the doll isn't for sale, just the outfit, minus shoes since we didn't get any to match the dress and I'm not even the slightest bit intrigued by making shoes at the moment.

Our fingers are crossed that it sells, but it's not over until it's over so we'll see. If you'd like to take a closer look at the dress and the listing.
