Aquarium Photos
So, this is not doll related. The aquarium was way too busy to take a doll. But some of the pictures were really cool and if I can't post them here, what else can I do with them?
I believe this was a giant lobster. He was in a dark cave so that you couldn't see him without taking a photo with the flash. I was impressed the photo turned out so well, though.
This particular aquarium had a tunnel that went under one of their exhibits housing many sharks and other sea creatures. I found this truly fascinating, and loved every minute of it. My sister, on the other hand, is terrified of sharks and did not enjoy this part of the experience.
Another shot of the sharks from underneath.
And one coming right towards the camera. The glowing eyes add a truly spooky element.
They had lots of other animals as well like this one. He looked right at me while I took his picture. Even turned his head to do so.
I'm no expert, but this is a very nice photo. I think this lizard liked having his picture taken. "Get my good side!"
Then there were these two. Take a good look at these lizards and tell me dinosaurs don't exist anymore. They look like they just stepped out of Jurassic Park, albeit with very short, stumpy legs.
Moving on to something even cuter. Awww! He just looks like he needs a big ol' hug.
My personal favorite animal in the aquarium was this big kitty.
And, of course, that big kitty's bunkmate. Look at that sweet face!
Well, it was sweet until this happened. "Take my picture one more time and you'll be on the brunch menu!"
There were these two ducks. Who knew ducks could get red-eye?
And this big guy. I was surprised to find this photo actually. I had the camera the whole time almost, and took pretty much all the photos except family shots, but I don't remember seeing this lizard. In fact, I can't tell much from the photo either. Was he small? Medium sized? Large? Huge? The world may never know. Okay, so the world might but I might not.
And then there was this eel. He was electric. They had a little panel in front of his display that allowed you to feel the electric current coming off of him. Though reluctant to place my finger on a place I knew I would get shocked, I did it anyway. It wasn't very strong, but it certainly felt like something. In fact, it zapped all of us, except my dad. Seriously, he could not feel it...at all...
This second shot of the eel impressed me too. He must've been doing his morning curls.
This guy was either an alligator or a crocodile. I'm not sure which and I didn't get close enough to find out. I did, however, try to take the photo from the angle of a person in the water with it and the last thing they would probably see. I also posted it because my sister can't stand water carnivores and she reads these posts.
And finally we'll finish with what I believe to be the first signs of the zombie fish apocalypse.
