Grand Re-Opening!

Image
Well, once I lost my job, I somehow found it again a week later. Yeah... So I've been working through to the end of the seasonal I signed on for which means approximately three more weeks to go. That's okay, though, because I made an expensive doll purchase that I'd like to make the money back for and so I'll charge the mountain until the very end. In the meantime I did, in fact, re-open our Etsy store: Mirage River Creations. It took a couple days to do a little adjusting to listings and things and now we're up and running. Better still, we already got our first customer! So, if you find our blog interesting and you'd like to see some of the doll things we've got up for sale, along with others, please come check it out, we'd love to have you. Here's the link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MirageRiverCreations?ref=search_shop_redirect I'll post the link in the "About Us" page too, just to make it easier to find. And Merry Christmas ...

Hi! I'm so sorry it's been so long since either of us last posted. Between the job I got and Christmas, it was really busy around here, but, worse, the internet was not connecting to our laptop. It still isn't, in fact. However, I lost my job when the company decided to let go of all its temporary seasonal help except maybe two or three people, and so I have a lot more free time. With all that free time, I gave up trying to wait until the laptop came come back online. It might be next year before that happens, so I opened Blogger on the family computer and here we go. Just so you know, I've been wanting to post--so has my sister--and I've been thinking about it, planning ideas, and waiting impatiently. But the laptop's internet connection is ridiculous, so we'll just have to make due with what we have. So what does the future hold? Next year we'll definitely look into getting the laptop up and running again (it's been nearly impossible to update ...
